Tænker du eller dit kompagni at søge tilskud til drift eller flere aktiviteter hos Statens Kunstfonds Projektstøtteudvalg for Scenekunst den 2. juni 2025 – og vil I gerne høre mere om det at søge drift – og have inspiration til at formulere det?
I denne workshop vil koreograf og kunstnerisk leder af kompagniet MYKA My Grönholdt sammen med administrator og rådgiver Jens Christian Jensen ud fra Projektstøtteudvalgets strategier og indsatsområder forsøge at afklare termen ”drift” – og se det i forhold til aktiviteter samt projekter og basisdrift.
Vi vil have fokus på den længere planlægning, vi oplever skal til i forbindelse med denne slags ansøgninger, samt hvordan man kan indtænkte samarbejder som co-produktioner både nationalt og internationalt ind i ansøgningen.
Vi vil gennemgå den struktur, vi oplever en ansøgning på op til 8 sider kan have – og hvordan den adskiller sig fra en ansøgning om et enkelt projekt på op til 2 sider. Hvad skal med i fortællingen om teatret eller kompagniet, og hvad vil en ansøgning om støtte til en længere periode kunne bidrage med i forhold til langtidsplanlægning og strategisk tænkning?
I forhold til driftsbudgettet, som er en del forskelligt fra projektstøttebudgettet, vil vi gennemgå de forskellige elementer – og se på, hvordan man kan strukturere det. Vi vil også gennemgå de forskellige andre muligheder for funding, f.eks. nordiske og private fonde – samt endelig de muligheder i budgettet, co-produktioner kan give.
Workshoppen er åben for alle, der overvejer at søge om drift eller flere aktiviteter hos Kunstfondens Projektstøtteudvalg for Scenekunst den 2. juni 2025, f.eks. selvproducerende kunstnere som instruktører, koreografer, dansere og skuespillere samt andre inden for scenekunstfeltet – bl.a. producenter, rådgivere og administratorer.
Praktiske detaljer
Workshoppen vil blive afholdt på engelsk/dansk alt efter behov, så vi sikrer, at alle forstår indholdet – og den finder sted på KU.BE i deres LAB, øverst i bygningen, Dirch Passers Allé 4, Frederiksberg, tirsdag den 25. marts 2025 kl. 13.00 – 16.00 – og medbring gerne din bærbare computer (inkl. strømforsyning).

Fremtidige workshops
Jens Christian Jensen vil afholde en ansøgnings- og budgetworkshop primo maj 2025, som er rettet mod enkeltprojekter til fristen hos Projektstøtteudvalget 2. juni 2025, hvor han vil gennemgå de elementer, han vurderer, er vigtige i en ansøgning og dens opbygning. Derudover vil han arbejde med udarbejdelse af ansøgningsbudget, der matcher ansøgningen. Indholdet vil være nogenlunde det samme som i tidligere afholdt workshop den 26. november 2024, men oplever altid, at nye perspektiver på projekter og refleksioner over muligheder ændrer sig med tiden. Der kommer opslag om denne workshop senere.
Om My Grönholdt
My Grönholdt er en svensk koreograf, danser og performer baseret i Danmark. My arbejder som kunstnerisk leder og koreograf for dansekompagniet MYKA, et prisvindende kompagni, som skaber magi for de mindste (0-5 årige) og deres voksne og som producerer tværkunstneriske danseforestillinger og installationer, der turnerer i ind og udland.
My har 12 års erfaring som selvproducerende kunstner i det frie felt og har mange erfaringer at dele, og brænder udover arbejdet med MYKA, for udvikling af andre kunstnere og kompagnier i alt fra kunstnerskab og organisation. My har de seneste år arbejdet som kunstnerisk konsulent for andre kunstnere og som kurator og mentor.
De første 8 års arbejde med MYKA blev finansieret med projektstøtte og enkeltprojekter fra Statens Kunstfond samt private fonde i kombination med undervisning for målgruppen. My blev i 2020-2022 udvalgt til Statens Kunstfonds 2 årige ‘Karriereprogram – Den unge kunstneriske Elite’ hvor karrieren tog fart og professionaliseredes. MYKA har de seneste 4 år modtaget aktivitetsstøtte fra Statens Kunstfond og modtog i 2024 en 3 årig driftsbevilling fra Statens Kunstfond og private fonde. MYKA er etableret som teaterforening med en stærk bestyrelse bag sig, og organisationen består af My som koreograf og kunstnerisk leder, Jens Christian Jensen som administrator og rådgiver samt Sofia Wickman som kreativ producent.
My er uddannet danser på Den Danske Scenekunstskole, med afgang i 2011, praktik hos Sasha Waltz og Troika Ranch i Berlin, og sommerskole hos Katie Duck i Amsterdam. My har studeret videre med kursus i koreografisk praksis for babyer på Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola og tager løbende kurser og mentoring i ledelse og kunstnerskab, for fortsat udvikling.
Om Jens Christian Jensen
Jens Christian har arbejdet inden for scenekunstbranchen i mange år. Han har været ansat i Slots- og Kulturstyrelsen, hvor han har rådgivet og administreret tilskud til musikprojekter, rytmiske spillesteder samt teatre og scenekunstprojekter. Derudover har han været ansat i Københavns Internationale Teater og været rådgiver og projektadministrator i Projektcentret i Dansehallerne over en årrække. Han er nu selvstændig og står for administration og rådgivning for forskellige kompagnier og koreografer, herunder MYKA, VOMP – et dansekompagni af Gunilla Lind, AVIAJA Dance og Convoi Exeptionnel. Han har været involveret i forskellige nordiske projekter, bl.a. mentorprogram for danseproducenter og dansefilm. Endelig har han været operatør på vegne af Statens Kunstfond for deres satsning på dans internationalt på Tanzmesse i Düsseldorf i Tyskland gennem en årrække, senest i august 2024.
Jens Christian har en BA i historie og Mellemøstens historie og er cand.mag. i Moderne Kultur og Kulturformidling. Han har senest taget efteruddannelse hos DISPUK i Narrativ coaching og vejledning samt Narrativ grunduddannelse som samtalepraktiker.
Workshop with focus on application for “drift” – 25 March 2025
Are you or your company thinking of applying for a grant for “drift” or several activities from the Danish Arts Foundation, Committee for Performing Arts Projects on 2 June 2025 – and would you like to hear more about applying for “drift”, and are you looking for inspiration to formulate this?
In this workshop, choreographer and artistic director of the company MYKA My Grönholdt, together with administrator and adviser Jens Christian Jensen, will try to clarify the term “drift” based on the Committee’s strategies and areas of focus – and see it in relation to activities as well as single projects.
We will focus on the longer planning that we experience is required in connection with this type of application, as well as how to incorporate collaborations such as co-productions both nationally and internationally into the application.
We will review the structure that we experience an application of up to 8 pages can have – and how it differs from an application for a single project of up to 2 pages. What should be included in the story of the theatre or company, and what can an application for support for a longer period contribute in terms of long-term planning and strategic thinking?
In relation to the “drifts” budget, which is quite different from the budget for projects, we will review the various elements – and look at how to structure it. We will also review the various other funding options, e.g. Nordic and private funds – and finally the budget opportunities that co-productions can provide.
The workshop is open to anyone who is considering applying for “drift” or more activities at the Danish Arts Foundation, Committee for Performing Arts Projects on 2 June 2025, e.g. self-producing artists such as directors, choreographers, dancers and actors, as well as others within the performing arts field – including producers, advisors and administrators.
Practical details
The workshop will be held in English/Danish as needed, so we ensure that everyone understands the content – and it will take place at KU.BE in their LAB, at the top of the building, Dirch Passers Allé 4, Frederiksberg, Tuesday, 25 March 2025 at 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – and please bring your laptop (including power supply).

Future workshops
Jens Christian Jensen will hold an application and budget workshop in early May 2025, which is aimed at individual projects by the deadline at Danish Arts Foundation, Committee for Performing Arts Projects on 2 June 2025, where he will review the elements, he considers important in an application and its structure. In addition, he will work on preparing an application budget that matches the application. The content will be roughly the same as in the previously workshop held on 26 November 2024, but always experience that new perspectives on projects and reflections on opportunities change over time. There will be an announcement about this workshop later.
About My Grönholdt
My Grönholdt is a Swedish choreographer, dancer and performer based in Denmark. My works as artistic director and choreographer for the dance company MYKA, an award-winning company that creates magic for the youngest (0-5 years old) and their adults and that produces interdisciplinary dance performances and installations that tour at home and abroad.
My has 12 years of experience as a self-producing artist in the independent field and has many experiences to share, and in addition to working with MYKA, is passionate about the development of other artists and companies on everything from artistry to organization. In recent years, My has worked as an artistic consultant for other artists and as a curator and mentor.
The first 8 years of work with MYKA were financed with project funding and individual projects from the Danish Arts Foundation as well as private foundations in combination with teaching. In 2020-2022, My was selected for the Danish Arts Foundation’s 2-year ‘Career Program – The Young Artistic Elite’ where her career took off and became more professional. For the past 4 years, MYKA has received activity support from the Danish Arts Foundation and in 2024 received a 3-year operating grant (drift) from the Danish Arts Foundation and private foundations. MYKA is established as a theatre association (teaterforening) with a strong board, and the organization consists of My as choreographer and artistic director, Jens Christian Jensen as administrator and adviser, and Sofia Wickman as creative producer.
My is a trained dancer at the Danish National School for Performing Arts, graduating in 2011, internship with Sasha Waltz and Troika Ranch in Berlin, and summer school with Katie Duck in Amsterdam. My has continued her studies with a course in choreographic practice for babies at Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola and is currently taking courses and mentoring in management and artistry for continued development.
About Jens Christian Jensen
Jens Christian has worked in the performing arts field for many years. He has been employed by the Danish Arts Foundation, where he has been adviser and administered grants for music venues and projects as well as theatres and performing arts projects. In addition, he has been employed at Copenhagen International Theatre and has been an adviser and project administrator at the Project Centre at Dansehallerne over a number of years. He is now independent and is responsible for administration and advising for various companies and choreographers such as MYKA, VOMP – a dancecompany by Gunilla Lind, AVIAJA Dance and Convoi Exceptionnel – and has been involved in various Nordic projects, e.g. mentoring program for dance producers and dance films. Finally, he has been an operator on behalf of the Danish Arts Foundation for their promotion of dance internationally at Tanzmesse in Düsseldorf in Germany for a number of years, most recently in August 2024.
Jens Christian holds a BA in history and Middle East history and holds an MA in Modern Culture. He has most recently taken further education at DISPUK in Narrative coaching and supervision.
